| Annotation description: | Immunogold Fig 3e: localization of sec6 to the inside of the plasma membrane in mature terminals in the brain. Although there was labeling both in the cytoplasm and in close vicinity of cellular organelles, there was a higher level of sec6 labeling at the inside of the boutonal membrane. Labeling along the perisynaptic membrane was evenly dispersed. However, the active zone typically contained less sec6 labeling than the rest of the presynaptic membrane. |
