Annotation description:Fig. 5D and E, the double immunostaining showed colocalization of NrCAM (green) and Npn-2 (red) at numerous puncta (arrows) in confocal images of V1, layer 4 (P21) and dendritic spine puncta of pyramidal cells in V1, layer 4 (P21), labeled with EGFP by in utero electroporation and EGFP-positive, were labeled for both NrCAM and Npn2.

Literal:
"Double immunofluorescence staining showed colocalization of NrCAM and Npn-2 at numerous puncta in confocal images of mouse brain (P21) in sections of V1, layer 4, consistent with association studies in COS-7 cells (Fig. 5D). It was reported that Npn-2 colocalizes with PSD-95. In Figure 1C, NrCAM staining of puncta in V1, layer 4 (P21) overlapped with the postsynaptic marker PSD-95, while pyramidal cells labeled with EGFP by in utero electroporation showed punctate labeling at the tip of spines for both NrCAM and Npn2 (Fig. 5E).
