Note: the localization data do not strictly point to localization in the postsynapse. PSD enrichment might be via tight transsynaptic protein interaction. This localization is assumed, however, based on the postsynaptic localization of other neuroligins paralogs and on the functional data (Fig.5) that shows recruitment of postsynaptic components following clustering of NLGN3; neurologin-3.
