| Annotation description: | Zhong et.al. use overexpression of GFP-tagged proteins to test the subcellular localization of PKA subunits in hippocampal slice cultures. They observe that PKA R1b-GFP is present in dendrites, including dendritic spines (Figure 2C, D). It is also observed that PKA R1b-GFP expression is somewhat reduced in the axon. This indicates that this experiment has at least some specificity, but the evidence is not very strong. |
