| Annotation description: | - Postembedding immunogold EM of adult rat cerebral cortex was performed using 254.2 anti-liprin2-antibody. - Fig5B-C: EM images show the expression of gold particles adjacent to the postsynaptic membrane. - Fig5E quantifies the distribution of gold particles relative to the postsynaptic membrane (value of 0). The high peak within 50 nm of the postsynaptic membrane is suggestive of liprin-alpha 2 being localized in close proximity to the postsynaptic membrane in the postsynaptic specialization. - Fig. 3: Double immunofluorescence experiments demonstrated localization of liprin-alpha 2 with the postsynaptic protein GRIP along dendrites. |
