| Annotation description: | Figure 2, 3: Confocal imaging of cultured hippocampal neurons showed over-expression of IQGAP1 stimulated spine formation and increased spine head size. The effect was strongly reduced in an IQGAP1 mutant lacking the CHD domain. Figure 5: IQGAP1 mutants that lacks C-terminus also stimulates spine formation; deletion of this domain does not prevent the stimulatory effect of IQGAP1 on spine number or spine head size. |
