Annotated paper:Cijsouw T, et al. "Munc18-1 redistributes in nerve terminals in an activity- and PKC-dependent manner" J Cell Biol. 2014 Mar 3;204(5):759-75 PMID:24590174
Figure(s):Fig 4a-g
Annotation description:Using GFP knock-in mice, the authors show that munc18-1 accumulates in boutons/nerve terminals and collocalizes with the vesicle cluster. In FRAP experiments, a significant fraction of the protein was found to be in the immobile fraction (40%), probably via binding to syntaxin (half of the immobile fraction)
